Water / Sewer Service

Emmet has its own Public water and sewer service. 

Water is supplied to our distribution system from (2) deep wells located here in town. Water is pumped from these wells into the distribution system and a 50,000 Galion overhead storage tank. Our water is very pure but state law requires all public water systems to be chlorinated.  

To apply for Water/Sewer Service 

Applications must be completed and a deposit posted at The Emmet City Hall during regular Office hours. A service charge may apply for after-hours hookup.

Water/Sewer Utility Bills are mailed out around the 25th of the month and payments are due on or before the 10th of the month. payments made after the 10th will have a 10% late charge added to the total. Service to accounts not paid by the 25th may be disconnected.
